Fallout 4 November patch detailed, console players need to take action for mods

Bethesda has recently announced the details of the upcoming Fallout 4 November patch, which includes the addition of a new Varmint Rifle and various fixes to address crashes. However, the much-anticipated mod storage expansion for consoles will not be included in this patch. Console players should be aware that when the update is released in December, it will reset the mod load order, requiring some action on their part.

If you are a console player of Fallout 4 who uses mods, here are the steps you can take to ensure your load order remains unaffected:

  1. Go to the Creations Menu and select the Load Order Menu at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Choose “Load Order Archive” at the bottom of the Load Order Menu screen.
  3. Select “Save Load Order to Bethesda.net.”
  4. Confirm by selecting “Yes.”
  5. You will receive a confirmation message that your current load order has been saved to Bethesda.net
  6. Exit the menu and allow the game to reload your data files. The game will confirm the change in load order, indicating the process is complete!

Here are the key notes from the Fallout 4 November patch:
