EA has recently unveiled the 13 players who have been honored with Heroes status for FC 25, enhancing the strength of players’ teams in Ultimate Team. The distinguished players include Blaise Matuidi, Celia Šašić, Eden Hazard, Fara Williams, Guti, Jaap Stam, Jamie Carragher, Laura Georges, Maicon, Marek Hamšík, Mohammed Noor, Tim Howard, and Zé Roberto. Male Heroes will be accessible to EA SPORTS FC Mobile players later this year.
“Being recognized as one of the FC Heroes this year is truly special to me, considering the multitude of heroes in this beautiful game that we all love,” expressed Tim Howard. “I am eagerly anticipating showcasing my skills in goal in FC 25.”
“Whether it’s a timely challenge, a tireless run, a game-winning goal, or anything in between, being hailed as a hero by fans is a prestigious accolade for any footballer,” remarked Charlie Villiers, Sr. Director, Franchise Marketing EA SPORTS FC. “With this year’s impressive lineup of Heroes debuting in Ultimate Team this September, we aimed to capture the defining moments that solidified their hero status and celebrate their journey in achieving this recognition.”
Customers who pre-order the EA Sports FC 25 Ultimate Edition by August 20th will receive a day-one ‘Origin Hero’ item, which will automatically upgrade to a Prime Hero item on November 28th.
In my FC 25 Preview, I noted, “While this press preview only offered a glimpse of what to expect from FC 25, my overall impression is somewhat mixed. The core gameplay feels familiar to FC 24, with minimal on-field changes. However, Rush mode injects a refreshing dose of excitement (beyond just the name change) into the series, making it highly appealing to players due to its fast-paced and entertaining nature.”
EA Sports FC 25 is set to launch on September 27th, 2024 for most players, with early access available on September 20th for those who purchase the Ultimate Edition.
