Techland has announced a delay in the release of Dying Light: The Beast, pushing the date to September 19, 2025, from the previously scheduled date of August 22. The extra month will allow for additional polishing of the game.

In their statement, Techland mentioned, “It has always been our goal to make Dying Light: The Beast the best Dying Light game we’ve ever released. To honor this promise, we’ve made the decision to move the release date to September 19, 2025 to allow for extra polishing work.”

They also shared that they have been listening to player feedback and plan to address areas for improvement such as gameplay balance, UI clarity, physics quality, and animations.

While the delay may disappoint some fans, Techland promises regular updates leading up to the launch and a playable demo at Gamescom in Hall 6.

Dying Light: The Beast is a standalone game that originated from the planned DLC for Dying Light 2. It will be available for purchase separately but will also be included at no extra cost for owners of Dying Light 2: Ultimate Edition.

The article concludes with a preview of The Beast from Gamescom last year, highlighting its stunning visuals and action-packed gameplay.
