Unfortunately, Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is set to be removed from digital storefronts, as confirmed by Tuque Games and Wizard of the Coast. The game will be playable until February 24th, 2025, after which it will no longer be available for purchase online. While the online servers will be deactivated, players who already own Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance will still be able to enjoy the single player campaign.
The team released a statement saying, “We will be shutting down the Dark Alliance servers on 2/24/2025, and it will no longer be available for purchase from that day onwards. However, the base game and all DLC content will still be accessible for offline single player mode for existing owners.”
Our review of Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance by Reuben highlighted, “Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance falls short of its potential within the D&D universe and the Dark Alliance franchise. The gameplay experience, while decent when played solo or with friends, lacks excitement and feels slow-paced. It resembles a typical tabletop D&D session where hours pass by with minimal progress, but without the enjoyment factor.”
