Salesforce and Nvidia have announced a new partnership that will bring Nvidia’s artificial intelligence (AI) platform to work alongside Salesforce’s platform and its Agentforce AI agent service. This collaboration aims to develop more advanced AI capabilities for organisations, including autonomous agents and interactive avatars.
Unveiled at Dreamforce in San Francisco, the partnership will focus on delivering optimized predictive and generative AI capabilities to enhance Agentforce agents’ ability to generate deeper insights. Salesforce chair and CEO Marc Benioff expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Together with Nvidia, we’re leading the third wave of the AI revolution, moving beyond copilots to humans and intelligent agents working seamlessly to drive customer success.”
Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang added, “In the future, every company, every job will be enhanced by a wide range of AI agents. Nvidia and Salesforce are bringing together our technologies to accelerate the development of AI agents for companies to supercharge their productivity.”
As part of the partnership, Salesforce and Nvidia will enhance AI capabilities by accelerating data processing in the Salesforce Data Cloud. This will enable quicker access to data and empower Agentforce agents to analyze and act on the information at a faster pace.
Agentforce on the case
At the Dreamforce conference, potential use cases for Agentforce include crisis management, real-time weather impact modeling, and customer support resolution. For example, Agentforce agents could assist with surge inbound customer calls during emergencies, optimize travel routes based on live weather data, and provide instant solutions during customer interactions.
Salesforce and Nvidia are also working on developing advanced avatars for Agentforce agents, using Nvidia ACE technologies to create a more human-like experience for users. These avatars will enhance real-time coaching feedback, event management, and training assistance.
