Pocketpair Publishing and developer Surgent Studios have revealed the release date for their upcoming psychological horror game, Dead Take.
Dead Take is scheduled to launch on July 31st for Windows PC via Steam.
Abubakar Salim, Creative Director of Dead Take, shared, “Dead Take is about actors. So we needed actors who’ve lived it. It’s a game about the high of ambition and the rot underneath it. The lies we tell ourselves to get in the spotlight, and the monsters we become to stay there. Everyone in this cast has felt that pressure. This was a chance to bleed it out.”
Additionally, the game’s full cast lineup has been announced, featuring notable names such as Jane Perry, Alanah Pearce, Laura Bailey, Matthew Mercer, Sam Lake, Travis Willingham, and CDawgVA.
Set in a lavish yet secluded Hollywood Hills mansion, Dead Take puts players in the shoes of an actor searching for a missing friend after a glamorous Hollywood party. As they solve escape-room-style puzzles and piece together found videos, players will unravel the dark secrets hidden behind the glitzy exterior of the entertainment industry.
