Korea-based Pixelity studio has officially announced the title of its new XR game inspired by the iconic ’90s anime Neon Genesis Evangelion (1995): “EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS”
Previously hinted at earlier this year, Evangelion: Cross Reflections will transport players to familiar locations from the anime, where they can engage in battles between Evangelions and Angels, explore various interactive elements, and immerse themselves in captivating storylines featuring original characters, according to Pixelity.
Set within the timeline of all 26 episodes of the anime, Cross Reflections will kick off a trilogy focused on events from Episode 1 to 11.
“A standout feature of the game is the seamless integration of key episodes from the original storyline with brand new, game-specific narrative content,” Pixelity reveals.
Evangelion: Cross Reflections is expected to launch in 2026. While specific platforms have not been disclosed yet, the game is confirmed to utilize both VR and MR technologies, hinting at a possible release on the Quest. A demo of the game is anticipated to be available in the first half of 2026, providing more insights into the gameplay.
Established in 2017, Pixelity has developed several VR games such as Puttzzle (2023), Crazyworld VR (2022), and Rise of the Fallen (2018). The studio is currently in the process of creating two additional VR games, The Patcher and Teahouse of Souls.
