Apple has recently unveiled its 2025 holiday lineup for Apple TV, featuring a mix of new originals and beloved classics.
While Apple TV won’t have a big musical extravaganza this year, fans can still enjoy past holiday specials like Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special (2020), The Magic Continues (2021), and Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas (2023) with musical performances of Christmas classics.
This holiday season, Apple is focusing on a quieter lineup with the debut of The First Snow of Fraggle Rock, a new Apple Original that pays homage to the classic franchise of Fraggle Rock.
Additionally, Apple acquired the rights to the 96-episode catalog of Fraggle Rock in 2020, bringing it to Apple TV along with a new series, Fraggle Rock: Rock On.
Now, Apple TV is introducing a holiday special for the Fraggles, where Gobo faces a writer’s block after a single snowflake falls, leading to unexpected adventures.
The special features internet sensation Lele Pons in a cameo role and a musical performance of “Our Melody” alongside Gobo. A journey to Outer Space inspires new music, while Junior at the Gorgs’ castle deals with the arrival of a baby sister.

The First Snow of Fraggle Rock premieres on Friday, December 5, alongside the classic A Charlie Brown Christmas and For Auld Lang Syne.
Feature Film Debuts
Apple TV will also debut The Family Plan 2, a sequel to the 2023 action-comedy film starring Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Monaghan, just in time for the holiday season.
In “The Family Plan 2,” Dan plans a perfect vacation for his family until a mysterious figure from his past disrupts their plans, leading to a series of adventures and holiday hijinks.
