Proxy Studios, the developers behind Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics Of War, have recently launched Zephon, a new 4X strategy game set in a post-apocalyptic world filled with unique elements like hexagonal maps, flesh trees, giant creatures, nuclear bombs, and a blend of magic and cyberpunk themes. The game offers a player-led experience where you can customize your civilization to your liking. Watch the exciting launch trailer below.
Zephon features combat-focused gameplay with battles happening on the same map as exploration and construction. Players can choose to field a robot army, harness dark forces, or a combination of both to shape their civilization. The game’s storyline revolves around humanity’s struggle in a post-apocalyptic world filled with mutated creatures, malfunctioning robots, and alien soldiers.
Control the survivors of humanity in a near-future apocalypse of alien origin. Choose between the indifferent abominations of the Voice and the uncaring automata of ZEPHON, with city management, turn-based tactical combat, unholy research, diplomatic maneuvering, and branching narrative quests.
Zephon boasts over 50 unique units, 150 technologies, six climate types, and 11 tiered resources, offering a diverse and strategic gameplay experience. The game follows in the footsteps of Gladius, released in 2018, and promises a similar engaging gameplay loop.
