34BigThings has officially announced the release date for Carmageddon: Rogue Shift, set to hit shelves on February 6th. The game will be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series XS, and Switch 2. The exciting news was unveiled alongside a thrilling gameplay trailer showcasing the array of vehicles and weapons players can expect in this adrenaline-pumping race.
Last month, 34BigThings teased fans with a glimpse of five vehicles featured in Carmageddon: Rogue Shift, all of which are highlighted in the trailer. From the versatile Eagle GT to the resilient Clunker, each vehicle offers a unique driving experience. Speed demons will gravitate towards the Firecracker Turbo, while those seeking balance can opt for the SQR-NE55. The Hawk GT, with its aggressive offense and acceleration, provides a high-octane but challenging ride.
Carmageddon: Rogue Shift transports players to the year 2050, where the night streets are swarming with the Wasted, forcing humanity to seek refuge in their homes after dark. However, daring street racers have a chance to earn riches, fame, and a ticket off the planet to safety. The game features 15 distinct vehicles, including FWD, RWD, and AWD models, each with its own set of stats. With 13 weapon classes ranging from shotguns to rocket launchers, players can upgrade their arsenal for maximum impact. Over 80 perks are available for customizing vehicle loadouts as they navigate dynamic tracks with changing weather patterns and a day-night cycle.
