Bullet Paradise Has Already Been Canceled

Publisher Running With Scissors has decided to cancel the newly announced POSTAL: Bullet Paradise following backlash from fans regarding the use of AI in the game’s development.

Running With Scissors founder, Vince Desi, issued a statement addressing the situation:

“After unveiling POSTAL: Bullet Paradise, which was a title that Running With Scissors intended to publish but not develop, we received a barrage of negative reactions from our concerned POSTAL Community. The overwhelming feedback suggests that certain aspects of the game may have been AI-generated, leading to significant harm to our brand and reputation as a company.

We have always been, and will continue to be, transparent with our community. Our trust in the development team has been shattered; hence, we have terminated the project. We have exciting things on the horizon (some that you are aware of and some that you are not).

Since the establishment of Running With Scissors in 1996, we have maintained that our fans are an integral part of the team. Our top priority is always to act in the best interest of the millions who support the POSTAL franchise. We appreciate the opportunity to create the games we love to play, and we are looking forward to sharing more about our new projects and updates in 2026 and beyond. Stay tuned!”

It is disappointing to see POSTAL miss out on the potential for a bullet heaven game, but it is difficult to ignore the fans who are applauding the demise of games labeled as “AI Slop”.
