A New Bridge-Building VR Game Coming to Quest
An exciting engineering puzzle sandbox game is set to release on Quest this week, offering players a range of challenging bridge-building tasks in both virtual reality and mixed reality.
Bridge Constructor Studio was originally supposed to launch last week, bringing its unique bridge-building simulator to Quest in VR, along with the ability to build, test, and fine-tune your bridges in mixed reality on Quest 3. Despite the delay, fans can now look forward to its arrival.
Scheduled for release on December 12th, Bridge Constructor Studio features 70 puzzles in its campaign, challenging players to transport various vehicles from point A to point B using different construction materials like wood, steel, cables, concrete pillars, and roadways.
Unlike the traditional flat-screen versions of Bridge Constructor (or its main rival Poly Bridge), the XR version does not impose budget restrictions or material limits by default, although players can opt to enable them to earn a special award, according to the studio.
Aside from the campaign, Bridge Constructor Studio also offers a Scenario Creation Mode, allowing players to design and play their own bridge-building challenges and save up to 40 custom levels to their player profile.
Developed by ClockStone STUDIO, the same team behind both the flat-screen and XR versions of LEGO Bricktales (2023), as well as various flat-screen editions of Bridge Constructor, the game is priced at $10 and will be available exclusively for Quest 2 and 3 on December 12th. Players can find it on the Horizon Store.
