Battlefield 6 Open Beta: Maps, Modes, and Feedback Changes
The highly anticipated open beta for Battlefield 6 is set to begin later this week, offering players a glimpse into what they can expect in terms of maps, modes, and feedback-driven changes. EA has provided a preview of the upcoming experience, along with a new trailer showcasing intense gameplay.
The open beta will span two weekend windows, starting on August 9th and running through August 10th, with a second phase from August 14th to 17th. Early access will be available to EA Play Pro subscribers and Battlefield Labs registrants from August 7th.
Players will have the opportunity to explore three unique maps and game modes during the first weekend, including urban battles in Siege of Cairo, mountainous action in Liberation Peak, and street combat in Gibraltar’s Iberian Offensive. The second weekend will introduce the Empire State map for infantry-focused mayhem in Brooklyn.
Feedback from Battlefield Labs testers has influenced several changes for the open beta, such as introducing a closed weapon conquest playlist and refining map designs for better gameplay flow and balance. Weapon customization options have been enhanced, and signature weapons are now available to provide class-specific advantages.
While more extensive class changes are in the works post-beta, players can expect ongoing updates leading up to the game’s release. EA remains committed to fine-tuning the Battlefield 6 experience based on player input and evolving gameplay trends.
Stay tuned for further updates on Battlefield 6 as EA continues to refine and enhance the game ahead of its official launch.
