Ayaneo, known for its high-quality gaming handhelds, is set to release the Ayaneo Pocket S2, an Android-based handheld designed for mobile gamers. While the release date was previously unknown, the CEO of Ayaneo has confirmed that the Pocket S2 is expected to launch in May 2025, bringing several exciting upgrades.
The Ayaneo Pocket S2 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 chip, offering improved performance over its predecessor. With a 6.3-inch 1440p display, enhanced cooling solutions, including an “ultra-large” heatsink and an improved fan, and a larger battery capacity, the Pocket S2 promises a superior gaming experience. Additionally, the handheld will feature Hall effect joysticks for more comfortable and sensitive controls.
While the pricing details have not been disclosed, it is speculated that the Ayaneo Pocket S2 may be priced around $400, considering the upgrades it offers compared to the previous model. More information is expected to be revealed as the launch date approaches.
