Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable made its debut in Early Access on Quest in July, offering players a taste of the action with a single mission and a few unlockable blades. The game promised to expand its content in the following months, and now, developer UNIVRS has delivered on that promise with the release of the ‘Complete Edition’, which includes four thrilling chapters.
Our initial hands-on experience with the game back in July left us feeling like we were playing a tech demo. While the core gameplay was solid, the limited content only featured a single chapter and an infinite wave mode. However, with the Complete Edition, players can now delve into chapters three and four, the Epilogue, and even face off against an Armored Titan boss.
One of the exciting additions in the Complete Edition is the introduction of co-op mode, allowing players to tackle all chapters together for the first time.
Looking ahead, UNIVRS has teased a ‘Thunder Spear Unlock Event’ set to launch in January, described as a “global challenge.” Additionally, a free update is planned for 2025, as mentioned on the game’s webpage.
Despite our initial reservations about the game’s rough edges, it has clearly struck a chord with fans. As of now, Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable boasts an impressive user rating of [4.5/5] on the Horizon Store.
If you already own the Early Access version, Part 2 is available as a free download. For newcomers, Part 1 can be purchased separately for $8, Part 2 for $12 (Part 1 required), or you can opt for the Part 1 and Part 2 bundle for $20. The game is compatible with Quest 2, Quest 3/S, and Quest Pro.
