In a nutshell: Atari has partnered with retro gaming company My Arcade to develop a unique handheld gaming system called the Gamestation Go. This handheld device features a traditional D-pad, trackball, paddle/spinner knob, and standard A B X Y buttons, as well as various other controls and ports for connectivity.
The Gamestation Go appears to be backlit with some controls outlined with light, and it even has USB-C ports on the rear for wired controllers. Missing only a crank control, the device also includes cooling vents and a kickstand for added convenience.

Atari’s teaser for the Gamestation Go is accompanied by the tagline, “An icon, reimagined.” While details like bundled games and pricing are still unknown, the device’s versatile controls suggest it may support a range of platforms.
Last year’s Gamestation Portable was set to launch for $149, so it’s likely that the Gamestation Go will be priced similarly. With CES just around the corner, we can expect to learn more about this innovative handheld gaming system at the upcoming trade show in Las Vegas.
