Apple Intelligence Coming to Vision Pro with VisionOS 2.4 Update
Exciting news for Vision Pro users as Apple Intelligence, the company’s AI tools available on iOS and Mac, is set to make its way to Vision Pro in April with the public release of visionOS 2.4. Developers, however, can get a sneak peek by activating developer mode.
Apple Intelligence will bring a host of AI features to Vision Pro, including writing tools, AI-generated images, smart reply messages, natural language search in Photos, AI summaries, and custom emojis. These features have been seen on iOS and Mac since October and will be enhanced for Vision Pro, which heavily relies on voice and hand-based text input.
The upcoming Vision Pro update will also include improvements to Guest User mode, allowing users to share their experience with others using a nearby iPhone or iPad. This will make it easier to guide guests through the VR experience, eliminating the need for confusing instructions.
Furthermore, the 2.4 release will introduce Spatial Gallery, a collection of spatial photos, videos, and panoramas from various artists and photographers. This feature will initially roll out to users in select countries.
Integration with iOS is also getting a boost, with Vision Pro users being able to queue app and game downloads, browse spatial content, and access device info from their iPhone using the new Apple Vision Pro iOS app coming with iOS 18.4.
Initially, the 2.4 release with Apple Intelligence will only support U.S. English, but more features and language support will be added throughout the year. While the official release date is set for April, developers can already access the beta version of visionOS 2.4 by enabling Developer Mode in Settings > Privacy & Security.
