‘Apple Revolution’ Auction Offers Up an iPad Prototype, Signed Apple-1, and More

RR Auction July 2025

For Apple memorabilia fans, there’s an exciting auction happening now. While many of us may not have the budget to participate, it’s still fun to browse through the items on offer.

RR Auction, known for showcasing tech history items, is hosting another auction featuring Apple-related treasures. Past auctions have included rare items such as a factory-sealed original 4 GB iPhone, a prototype of the Pippin game console, a signed Steve Jobs business card, and even his bomber jacket.

The current auction, titled “Steve Jobs and the Apple Revolution,” runs until August 21. It includes items like the premiere issue of Macworld from February 1984 with Jobs on the cover, a baseball signed by Steve Wozniak, and the highlight: a fully operational Apple-1 computer signed by Wozniak and Kottke.

This Apple-1 computer set is described as a “Museum-quality” piece signed by Wozniak and Kottke. Bids have already reached $99,926, with the expected final price exceeding $300,000.

Other items up for auction include an Apple Lisa Computer, a Macintosh Portable prototype, a first-generation iPad prototype, and an Apple Interactive Television Box prototype.

For diehard Apple fans, there are also items like Apple III computers, Apple Lisa manuals, iBook posters, and more available for bidding.

When Steve Jobs speaks, computer users cheer. He’s not just a computer maker; he’s a modern folk hero.

Early iPhone models, iPods, and other Apple products are also available, some still in their original sealed boxes. Prices vary, with some items expected to reach tens of thousands of dollars.

While most of us may not be able to participate in these auctions, it’s still a fascinating journey through Apple’s history. Explore the full “Steve Jobs and the Apple Revolution” collection at RR Auction.
