Apple is working on an enhanced version of its Health app that will feature an AI coach to assist users in improving their health, as revealed by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
Gurman initially hinted at this development in 2023, and now progress is being made towards implementing these new features, expected to debut in the spring or summer of 2026 with the launch of iOS 19.4.
The AI coach will offer personalized advice based on data collected from various medical devices, including food tracking capabilities. Currently, the coach is undergoing training using data from healthcare professionals, and Apple intends to involve more doctors in creating health-related content.
According to Gurman, this upcoming service is tentatively known as Health+.
