Apple Releases First iOS 26.4 Beta
Apple has recently unveiled the initial beta version of iOS 26.4 for iPhone users. Despite initial expectations of upgraded Siri features, it seems like these changes will not be included in this release.
The tech giant had made a significant deal with Google in January to utilize Gemini AI technology for enhancing Siri functionalities that have been in development for the past two years. While these new features have been in the public eye for some time, the use of Gemini technology has been a recent development.
iOS 26.4 beta 1 comes on the heels of the official rollout of iOS 26.3, which was notably light on new features and updates.
The latest update introduced a simpler method for switching between Android and iPhone devices, adjustments to the Astronomy and Weather wallpaper selections, and a new capability for iPhones and iPads equipped with Apple C1 and C1X modems to restrict precise location tracking via cellular networks with specific service providers.
As we prepare to install Apple’s initial developer beta version of iOS 26.4 on our devices, we will keep you informed of any noteworthy changes we come across.
