iOS 26.1 Beta 3 Released for Testing

iOS 26.1 marks a significant update to Apple’s primary operating system, with the third developer beta now available for testing.

Expected to be released to the public towards the end of October or early November, iOS 26.1 brings a range of enhancements to iOS 26.

Key features include expanded Apple Intelligence language support and AirPods Live Translation compatibility.

Apple Intelligence now supports Chinese (traditional), Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese (Portugal), Swedish, Turkish, and Vietnamese languages.

AirPods Live Translation adds Chinese (Mandarin simplified and traditional), Italian, Japanese, and Korean language support. Initially introduced in iOS 26 for AirPods Pro 2, AirPods Pro 3, and AirPods 4, the feature also supports US and UK English, French, German, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish (Spain).

Additional improvements in iOS 26.1 include a Slide to Unlock interface for dismissing alarms, a swipe gesture for changing songs in the Music app, and various other enhancements.
