Apple has released the second iPadOS and iOS 18.5 developer beta. The first beta was uneventful for iPhone and iPad users. Let’s hope that iOS 18.5 beta 2 brings more exciting changes.
What’s new in iOS 18.5?
iOS 18.5 is not expected to introduce any major new features as iOS 19 development is already in progress internally. Apple has already delivered almost all the promised features for the iOS 18 cycle.
However, last year’s iOS 17.5 update did surprise users with News+ game additions and cross-platform tracking detection for AirTag-like products.
One noticeable change in iOS 18.5 beta 1 is the ability to easily disable contact photos in the Mail app.
