Apple has recently rolled out the iOS 17.1.2 software update for iPhone users along with the macOS Sonoma 14.1.2 update. These updates primarily focus on enhancing security features, as mentioned in the release notes.
The latest iOS version comes after the release of iOS 17.1.1, which addressed issues related to wireless charging for BMW drivers and a snow glitch. Additionally, Apple introduced macOS Sonoma 14.1.1 to ensure compatibility with the new M3 MacBook Pros.
iOS 17.2
Apple has also been conducting public tests on a more extensive update, iOS 17.2 beta. This forthcoming release will introduce Apple’s new Journal app for iPhone, collaborative playlists in Apple Music, new Clock and Weather widgets, and updates to Tapback in Messages.
