Apple releases first iOS 26.4 public beta with these changes

Apple has introduced the initial iOS 26.4 public beta version for iPhone, featuring new features such as AI-powered Apple Music updates.

Apple’s public beta program enables iPhone users to test upcoming software versions early. Notable changes in iOS 26.4 include:

  • Redesigned Apple Music album and playlist views
  • AI-powered “Playlist Playground” Apple Music feature
  • Per-device Personal Hotspot data usage reports
  • And more.

Additionally, Apple is testing end-to-end encrypted RCS messaging and an enhanced video podcast experience. iOS 26.4 includes default Stolen Device Detection and ongoing progress in CarPlay video support.
