Google has announced an update specifically tailored for mobile users who enjoy sharing content on their phones.
Android 15 users will now have access to new features aimed at enhancing accessibility, simplifying sharing, and making communication more engaging.

One of the standout features is ‘Expressive Captions,’ which aims to convey not just the words but also the emotions and tone behind them. Captions can indicate emotions like ‘whispering,’ ‘cheers and applause,’ or highlight pauses for better context.
Google assures that these captions will be available across various apps such as streaming platforms, social media, and video messaging.
Moreover, the ‘Emoji Kitchen’ in Gboard now allows users to create custom stickers by combining emojis, similar to the latest iOS 18 ‘Genmoji’ feature.
Additionally, Gboard introduces ‘Clearflow,’ a glide typing keyboard that enhances typing speed and accuracy.
Sharing files like photos and videos is now made easier with ‘QR codes in Quick Share.’ Users can generate a QR code for a file, allowing others to securely access it without the need for device verification or contact sharing.
For users with blindness or low vision, ‘Lookout’ now offers improved image descriptions using Gemini 1.5 Pro. Users can listen to detailed image captions and inquire further to better understand the content.
In addition, Google Drive now enhances scanned documents automatically by adjusting contrast, white balance, and reducing shadows and blur.
Lastly, the AI assistant Gemini is expanding its capabilities. Users can now connect Gemini with Spotify to play music, control device settings, send messages, and make calls.
Future updates will enable Gemini to manage smart home devices and provide detailed location information on Google Maps.
For users of the latest Google Pixel phones, there are 20 exciting new features to look forward to.
