The Ryzen 7 9700X, priced at $359, and the Ryzen 5 9600X, priced at $279, offer competitive performance with 8 and 6 cores respectively. Independent reviews are currently evaluating the claimed performance improvements of Zen 5 over its predecessors and Intel’s 14th-generation chips.
