Introduced in late 2024, the Quest 3S is Meta’s most budget-friendly VR headset of the current generation. It boasts color mixed reality capabilities and provides access to all the games available on the Horizon Store. Despite its affordability, the Quest 3S is able to run the same games as the pricier Quest 3, thanks to utilizing the lenses and displays from the older Quest 2 model released in 2020.

Amazon Deals on Quest 3S
One standout offer is the exclusive Amazon ‘Cardboard Hero Bundle’ for the 128GB variant, tailored for the popular game Gorilla Tag. This bundle includes 1,000 Shiny Rocks (the in-game currency of Gorilla Tag) and two digital items: the Handiwork Helmet and Handiwork Armor, valued at a total of $45.
Gorilla Tag is a fun, social game centered around playing tag with virtual primates. If your child is familiar with the Quest, chances are they’ve heard of Gorilla Tag.
For the 256GB model, it comes with a bundle offering a copy of Batman: Arkham Shadow (2024) [usually priced at $50] instead of the Gorilla Tag extras.
