Exciting news for gamers as Nvidia’s RTX 50-series GPUs are set to be released soon. The highly anticipated RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 will be available on January 30th, followed by the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 in February. Some lucky individuals are already experiencing the software benefits of these GPUs through DLSS 4.
A review by Tom Warren from The Verge on the RTX 5090 priced at $1,999 reveals that while it is indeed a powerhouse, it may not be the significant leap that the RTX 4090 was. Nevertheless, Sean Hollister, also from The Verge, was impressed with the RTX 5090 Founders Edition GPU, even fitting it into a small form factor PC.
The new 50-series GPUs also bring DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, a feature that could be as groundbreaking as the hardware itself. DLSS 4 utilizes AI to generate frames predictively, allowing games to be played at higher resolutions without sacrificing frame rate. Early adopters trying out DLSS 4 on RTX 40-series GPUs while playing Cyberpunk 2077 are already reporting significant improvements.
