Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition Coming to PS5 and PC
Following its initial release for virtual reality in late 2024, Alien: Rogue Incursion is now set to launch on PS5 and PC with a non-VR Evolved Edition on September 30, 2025.
Unveiled in the trailer, the game promises a reimagined experience for PS5 and PC players, boasting full HD visuals at 60fps. The tagline “FEAR HAS EVOLVED” sets the tone for the intense sci-fi horror adventure that awaits.
In Alien: Rogue Incursion, players take on the role of ex-Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks, determined to uncover sinister experiments conducted by Weyland-Yutani on the planet Purdan. Accompanied by the synthetic companion Davis 01, players must infiltrate the research facility, confront the deadly xenomorphs, and survive the harrowing ordeal.
Developed by Survios, the game is the first installment of a two-part story, hinting at a sequel with a gripping cliffhanger ending. The release of the Evolved Edition aims to expand the game’s audience and set the stage for future installments.
While Alien: Rogue Incursion received mixed reviews upon its VR release, critics are hopeful that the Evolved Edition will address previous shortcomings and deliver an enhanced gameplay experience.
