Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have drawn comparisons to Apple’s AirPods due to their design and features. The Galaxy Buds 3 resemble Apple’s third-generation AirPods, while the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro bear a resemblance to the AirPods Pro. Despite the similarities, Samsung has managed to deliver solid audio performance on both models. The Galaxy Buds 3 offer a pleasant amount of low-end tone, while the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro provide deep, immersive sound with two-way speakers and dual amplifiers.

In terms of features, Samsung has incorporated Adaptive EQ and Adaptive ANC into both models, similar to Apple’s AirPods. The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro also include additional features such as Adaptive Noise Control, Voice Detect, and Siren Detect. These features work as described, although there are some minor issues with the timing of certain functions. The Galaxy Buds 3 series also includes a Real-Time Interpreter feature for translating languages, which currently requires a Galaxy Z Fold 6 or Flip 6 to use.

When it comes to battery life, both the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro meet Samsung’s stated figures, with the latter offering longer battery life. The cases for both models support wireless charging. In terms of ANC performance, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro offer better noise-canceling capabilities compared to the Galaxy Buds 3. Transparency mode works well on both models, providing a natural option for ambient sound.

Overall, Samsung has impressed with the audio quality and features of the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. While there are some areas for improvement, such as the design of the earbuds and certain features, Samsung has succeeded in delivering a competitive product in the earbud market. The company should focus on enhancing its unique features in future versions of Galaxy Buds to differentiate them from Apple’s AirPods.
