After Perfect Dark's reboot rocked up at the Xbox showcase, the original drops on Switch today

Today, the original Perfect Dark game has been released on the Nintendo Switch, featuring full online multiplayer. However, access to the game and four other classic titles is exclusive to subscribers of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service. This includes the highly anticipated reboot of Perfect Dark, which was showcased during Not-E3’s Xbox event.

The other classic titles available through the subscription service are The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Four Swords, Metroid: Zero Mission, and Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. These games, particularly Turok and Perfect Dark, are part of the Nintendo 64 Mature 17+ collection, so younger players may require parental permission to access them.

In addition to these releases, today’s Nintendo Direct also featured upcoming titles such as Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, and Mario & Luigi Brothership.

It’s worth noting that the Expansion Pack subscription service may come with a price tag, but for fans of these classic games, it could be a worthwhile investment.
