Acer Expands Networking Range at CES 2026 with 5G CPE, Wi-Fi 7 Mesh Routers and Mobile Hotspot

Acer has unveiled a new lineup of connectivity products at CES 2026, introducing Wi-Fi 7 and 5G technology to its networking portfolio. The new range includes the gaming-oriented Predator Connect X7S 5G CPE, two Acer Connect Ovia mesh routers, and the portable Acer Connect M4D 5G Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot.

**Predator Connect X7S 5G CPE: Cellular and Wi-Fi 7 Combined**

The Predator Connect X7S is Acer’s first 5G Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) device under the Predator gaming brand. It merges cellular connectivity with tri-band Wi-Fi 7 support, catering to gamers and users in areas where fiber broadband is not readily available.

The device boasts 5G NR support with theoretical downlink speeds of up to 4.67 Gbps, as well as 4G LTE and 3G WCDMA fallback. On the wireless front, it offers tri-band Wi-Fi 7 across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, with combined speeds reaching up to 5,764 Mbps. The inclusion of Multi-Link Operation (MLO) allows for simultaneous band usage, aiding in maintaining stable connections in bandwidth-heavy environments.

Equipped with Hybrid Quality of Service compatible with the Intel Killer Prioritization Engine, the X7S aims to intelligently allocate bandwidth for latency-sensitive applications like gaming and streaming. The device runs on an IPQ5322 processor with the FM550 modem, supported by 1 GB of LPDDR4 memory and 512 MB of NAND storage.

**Acer Connect Ovia T360 and T520: Wi-Fi 7 Mesh Options**

The Acer Connect Ovia range introduces two mesh router options catering to different needs and budgets.

*Ovia T360: Dual-Band Entry Point*

The T360 offers dual-band Wi-Fi 7 across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, covering approximately 90 square meters per node. With a 2.0 GHz quad-core ARM processor, 512 MB of DDR3L memory, and 128 MB of storage, this router is suitable for smaller living spaces.

*Ovia T520: Tri-Band for Larger Spaces*

Stepping up to tri-band Wi-Fi 7, the T520 delivers speeds of up to 5,764 Mbps on the 6 GHz band, along with coverage of approximately 110 square meters per node. It features a 1.5 GHz quad-core ARM processor, 512 MB of DDR4 memory, and an additional LAN port for enhanced connectivity.

Both routers support MLO, automatic node-switching, and feature-rich security options like WPA3 encryption and VPN support.

**Acer Connect M4D 5G Mobile Wi-Fi: Portable Connectivity**

The M4D is a pocket-sized 5G hotspot designed for travelers and remote workers, supporting up to 16 devices simultaneously via dual-band Wi-Fi 6. With flexible SIM support, eSIM compatibility, and a docking station for wired connections, this device offers versatility and convenience on the go.

**Software and App Integration**

All four products seamlessly integrate with the Acer Connect smartphone app, providing a unified management interface for easy setup and monitoring of devices, guest networks, and mesh nodes.

**Pricing and Availability**

The Predator Connect X7S 5G CPE is priced at $499.99 USD in North America and will be available in EMEA in May 2026. The Ovia T360, T520, and M4D are priced competitively and will be available in various regions in the coming months.

As Acer continues to innovate in the connectivity space, these new products promise to deliver high-performance networking solutions for diverse user needs.
