Sega Announces Free Demo for Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties
Sega has exciting news for gamers this week as they announce the release of a free demo for Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties. The demo will be available starting today on PC, with releases scheduled for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2 tomorrow. The full game is set to launch on 12th February, just a few weeks away.
PC players can access the demo on Steam from 3PM GMT today, while console players will have to wait until 5AM GMT tomorrow for their turn.
This free demo offers a glimpse into the immersive world of Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties. Sega describes the two experiences as follows:
- Yakuza Kiwami 3: Players can step into the shoes of Kazuma Kiryu as they explore Ryukyu, Okinawa. They can enjoy dynamic combat with Kiryu’s brutal Dragon of Dojima: Kiwami style and weapon-based Ryukyu style, along with engaging in side activities like karaoke, sub-stories, and outfit customization.
- Dark Ties: Players will experience an all-new story featuring Yoshitaka Mine in Kamurocho. They can engage in Mine’s shoot-boxing combat and explore a variety of side activities.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 is a remake of the third installment in the popular crime drama series. Players will join Kiryu in his mission to save Okinawa’s Morning Glory Orphanage. The game introduces a new Bad Boy Dragon mode where Kiryu leads the Haisai Girls gang to dominance, engaging in turf wars, battles, and motorbike raids.
Dark Ties delves into Yoshitaka Mine’s quest for reputation and power, featuring the intense Hell’s Arena underground fight club and challenging gameplay elements.
