Remedy Entertainment has unveiled a new trailer for FBC: Firebreak, the highly-anticipated Control co-op spin-off. Fans can mark their calendars for the upcoming “special livestream” scheduled for April 24th, where key launch details and future plans will be revealed.

Anticipation is building as we await the official release date announcement, which will hopefully narrow down the previously vague ‘summer 2025’ timeframe. The livestream promises to shed light on post-launch roadmap details and provide a sneak peek at the exciting missions that await players.

The latest trailer, titled ‘Hazards of the Job,’ offers a glimpse into the chaos that players will encounter within The Oldest House. From menacing sticky notes to fiery Furnaces in the Maintenance Sector, gamers will need to strategize and work together to overcome challenges like the explosive pink Exogenic Mass.

Fortunately, players won’t be facing these threats alone. FBC: Firebreak is designed as a three-player co-op shooter, drawing inspiration from classics like Left 4 Dead. In addition to traditional firearms, players can wield unique weapons like the crank-fired fluid projector and the electric charge impactor, along with quirky additions like the squeaky toy pig attached to the big wrench.

Exciting news for subscribers of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, PlayStation Plus Extra, and PlayStation Plus Premium, as FBC: Firebreak will be available on day one. Even better, all playable content will be accessible to every player for free, ensuring a level playing field for all. While details on monetization remain scarce, fans can expect more information to be shared in the near future, possibly during next week’s livestream.
