AppleInsider reported that a South Korean technology firm, Coupang Corp., suffered a data breach and launched a compensation plan after an employee used a stolen security key to access consumer records with a PC and MacBook Air. The culprit smashed the MacBook Air, stuffed it in a bag with bricks, and threw it into a river. Investigators found the MacBook, linking it to the hacker’s iCloud account.
