Publisher Warner Bros. Games and developer Player First Games have exciting news for MultiVersus fans – DC Comics’ hero Nubia will be joining the game’s roster this month.
The addition of Nubia comes hot on the heels of the recent introduction of the Powerpuff Girls as playable characters, with Nubia set to make her debut on October 15th.
Described as a close-combat damage dealer, Nubia wields the powerful Staff of Understanding, blending long-range spear combat with divine abilities. The new trailer showcases Nubia’s skills as an Assassin class fighter, demonstrating her slashing, striking, and kicking techniques, along with her ability to generate shockwaves to defeat her foes. Players can also look forward to the Future State Nubia character variant, available for purchase starting October 15th.
Nubia is a close-combat damage dealer with a dominant moveset featuring her Staff of Understanding that brings long-range spear fighting with a touch of godly power into the mix. In the new trailer, Nubia’s prowess as an Assassin class fighter is on full display, including her ability to slash, strike, and propel kicks towards opponents, as well as generating shockwaves with her staff to take out enemies. The trailer also shows off the Future State Nubia character variant, available for purchase on Oct. 15.
MultiVersus made its full release in May 2024 on various platforms including Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
