Imprint Films has recently unveiled the first-ever 4K remaster of the iconic 1980s fantasy-adventure film, The NeverEnding Story, directed by Wolfgang Petersen.
In celebration of its 40th anniversary, this classic film is undergoing a complete 4K restoration from the original 35MM negatives and will be presented in stunning Dolby Vision.
Exclusive to Imprint Films, The NeverEnding Story 4K will be available on November 27th, offered in a lavish Limited Edition package priced at $249 AUD (approximately $168 USD) through their online store.
While the Limited Edition set is impressive, there are hopes that Warner Bros., the film’s distributor in the Americas, will eventually license this new restoration for a broader release to cater to a wider audience.
