Serial modder Luke Ross releases new VR mod for Star Wars Outlaws
Renowned modder Luke Ross has recently unveiled a new VR mod for the PC version of Star Wars Outlaws (2024). This exciting development allows players to immerse themselves in the Star Wars universe like never before.
Released just on August 30th, the mod enables players to experience Star Wars Outlaws in VR, providing a unique perspective on the game’s open-world environments.
While the mod currently utilizes gamepad controls instead of VR controllers, players can still enjoy the game from a third-person view, with the option to switch to first-person for a more immersive experience.
One popular YouTuber, ‘Lord Beardsteak’, has already showcased gameplay footage from Tatooine, highlighting the game’s stunning visuals and engaging gameplay.
If you’re unfamiliar with Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft describes it as the first-ever open world Star Wars game set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Players take on the role of Kay Vess, a scoundrel on a quest for freedom and a fresh start in the galaxy, accompanied by her loyal companion Nix.
“Fight, steal, and outwit your way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates as you join the galaxy’s most wanted.”
To access Luke Ross’ R.E.A.L. VR mods, interested players can join their Patreon for a monthly subscription starting at $10. The mods are easy to install (simply drag and drop) with detailed documentation and recommended system requirements provided.
Ross is well-known for offering retroactive VR support for various PC games, including popular titles like Horizon Forbidden West, Elden Ring, and Cyberpunk 2077. In the past, Ross has also modded Rockstar Games such as GTA V, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Mafia II, although some of these mods have been removed from Patreon due to a dispute with the studio.
