Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has been delayed again, this time until the first half of 2025

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has faced another delay, pushing the RPG’s release to the first half of 2025. Publishers Paradox Interactive and developers The Chinese Room announced that the extra time will be used to further refine the game, address feedback, and enhance its storyline.

A video featuring Alex Skidmore, creative director at The Chinese Room, and Mattias Lilja, deputy CEO at Paradox, was released to announce the delay.

Paradox’s statement accompanying the delay emphasized their commitment to delivering high-quality games and explained that the decision to delay was made to prioritize polishing the game. This includes not just fixing bugs but also adding more content, expanding the story, introducing new endings, enhancing clan combat, and more.

Paradox has faced challenges this year, with setbacks like the failure of Lamplighters League, the launch issues of Cities Skylines 2, the cancellation of Life By You, and the delay of Prison Architect 2. CEO Fredrik Wester admitted to making mistakes in major projects, leading to a decline in profits.

Bloodlines 2 has had its own troubled history, with changes in creative leadership and development teams. After resurfacing under The Chinese Room last year, the game still appears to be lacking polish in trailers, making delays seem inevitable.
