Dragon Age: The Veilguard won't arrive before October 1st,

BioWare has announced that the highly anticipated game Dragon Age: The Veilguard is set to be released this autumn. Initially, there were speculations that the game would launch in September. However, EA has stated that the RPG is scheduled to be released in their financial third quarter, starting on October 1st.

EA’s financial year commences in April, with Q1 ending on June 30th and Q2 ending on September 30th. The latest financial calendar from EA indicates that The Veilguard is slated for a Q3 release, which means it will be out sometime this year, possibly in October or later.

It is important to note that the game’s development process may still encounter challenges. The fact that BioWare has not specified a precise release date makes it difficult to make accurate predictions about the launch.

Early impressions of The Veilguard from Edwin, who saw a 45-minute segment of the game in June, suggest that it leans more towards being a “single-character action-RPG” rather than a traditional party-based RPG like its predecessors. Despite this shift in gameplay style, Edwin was impressed by the game’s world, combat mechanics, and characters.

While some fans may mourn the departure from the strategic gameplay of previous Dragon Age titles, there is excitement surrounding The Veilguard. If the game can streamline its features without diminishing the importance of party members, it has the potential to breathe new life into the long-awaited RPG series.

The journey to the upcoming release of The Veilguard has been a lengthy one, with numerous changes and updates along the way. From its initial concept as a live service game to its current form as a single-player RPG, previously known as Dreadwolf, the game has undergone significant transformations. It is encouraging to see positive anticipation building as the game nears its launch date.
