The popular indie horror game, The Mortuary Assistant, is making its way to consoles with the enhanced Definitive Edition release.
The Mortuary Assistant – Definitive Edition will be launching on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch on August 2, 2024. It will also be available as a free update for the PC version.
Originally released for PC in 2022, The Mortuary Assistant quickly gained a dedicated following for its eerie and haunted atmosphere – a favorite among Twitch streamers.
In the game, players step into the shoes of Rebecca Owens, a recent mortuary science graduate and new apprentice at River Fields Mortuary. As if handling corpses wasn’t creepy enough, it becomes apparent that the mortuary is haunted by a malevolent spirit or entity. A chilling phone call from the mortician confirms that you are now trapped inside with no way out.
The Definitive Edition of the game comes packed with new features and content, including:
