Exciting news for Dead by Daylight fans! The highly anticipated 2v8 multiplayer mode is set to arrive as a time-limited event starting from July 25th until August 8th.
In this new game mode, 2 killers will join forces to take on 8 survivors, doubling the usual player count and creating intense gameplay dynamics.
Behaviour has put in a lot of effort to ensure that the game is balanced for this increased player count, introducing a new super-sized map and gameplay adjustments such as a class-like system and Cages instead of Hooks.
Additionally, cross-progression will be introduced on July 22nd, allowing players to share their progression, inventory, currency, and DLC across all platforms (except Nintendo Switch for currency and DLC).
The latest crossover in Dead by Daylight brings Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider franchise into the game as a guest Survivor.
Tome 20: Mythic has also been announced, featuring new memories for Yui Kimura and The Spirit, a new outfit for Lara Croft, and more exciting content to unlock.
And for fans eagerly awaiting the release of The Casting of Frank Stone, the single-player horror game spin-off is confirmed to launch in September.
