Exciting news for retro gamers as City Connection and Game Center Mikado have announced the upcoming release of Wolf Fang・Skull Fang Saturn Tribute Boosted for various gaming platforms. This collection pays homage to classic arcade games and is set to delight fans of the genre.
Wolf Fang ・ Skull Fang Saturn Tribute Boosted will be available on Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 starting October 31st in Japan. Gamers can look forward to the Switch and PS5 versions being available at retail outlets.
The compilation includes two beloved titles – the side-scrolling shooter Wolf Fang: Kuuga 2001 (also known as Rohga: Armor Force in the west) and the vertical shoot ’em up game Skull Fang: Kuuga Gaiden. Originally released in Japanese arcades by Data East, these games were later ported to the Sega Saturn, preserving their nostalgic charm.
Players can anticipate a range of new features in this collection, including Rewind and Save + Load options, as well as a specially curated “Boosted” soundtrack featuring talented composers such as COSIO, Fantom Iris, MASAKI (ZUNTATA), and more.
