Saber Interactive and developer Stormind have unveiled a brand new trailer for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, their upcoming horror game inspired by the popular film series. The trailer, which debuted on IGN, gives us a glimpse into the intense world of the game. Take a look:

The trailer showcases a harrowing scene from Day One of the alien invasion, introducing us to protagonist Alex, a college student with asthma, and her boyfriend Martin. Fast forward to Day 105, where Martin and Alex are seen exploring the post-apocalyptic world in search of supplies from a house that still has power.

The attention to detail in the game is evident, with characters using hand and head gestures to communicate, cautionary messages about staying silent even in safe spaces, and a unique door-opening mechanic. However, it seems that the shortage of WD40 and lubricants in the world has led to creaky hinges everywhere, adding to the tension as Alex navigates the world while heavily pregnant.

It’s clear that noise is a major factor in the game, with loud sounds like cars, shotguns, and alarms potentially attracting danger. The trailer hints at a suspenseful and atmospheric gaming experience that will keep players on edge.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is being developed by Stormind Games, known for their work on psychological horror titles like Remothered: Broken Porcelain and Tormented Fathers, as well as the action RPG Batora: Lost Haven. This new project marks a significant leap for the studio, showcasing their expertise in crafting immersive and chilling gameplay experiences.

Set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC later this year, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead promises to deliver a thrilling and suspenseful gaming experience for horror fans.
