Technology companies often release new generations of products, and Circular has done just that with the relaunch of the Ring Slim. Despite keeping the same name, the 2024 version comes with upgraded features and a more durable design compared to its predecessor.
Circular’s Ring Slim prides itself on being the world’s thinnest and lightest smart ring. With the latest improvements, it is now better equipped to compete with other popular smart rings like the Oura Ring Gen 3, Samsung Galaxy Ring, and Ultrahuman Ring Air.
The new Ring Slim boasts an enhanced scratch-resistant coating and a full IP68 rating, making it dust and waterproof. It also features an advanced algorithm for heart rate tracking during physical activities, providing more accurate readings. This data can be synced with the updated Kira+ app’s Sport Session Circle.
Another notable addition is the Advanced Analysis Circle, offering a comprehensive view of health and wellness data. Users can easily compare different metrics on a single graph to identify trends and make informed decisions.
The sleep tracking capabilities of the Ring Slim have been significantly improved with changes to the algorithm. It now includes heart rate, breathing rate, SpO2, temperature, and motion tracking, resulting in 79% accuracy compared to Polysomnography tests.
It remains to be seen whether these enhancements are enough to challenge the established players in the smart ring market. Stay tuned for the full review to find out more.
The 2024 version of the Circular Ring Slim is now available for purchase on the official store, priced at £226/$281/€259.
