Sony has announced that Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition will be released on October 1st, featuring a new narrative expansion and a single-player survival mode. The Complete Edition will cost $69.99, with an upgrade option available for existing game owners at $14.99.
The new narrative expansion, Ghost of Yōtei: Echoes of Sekigahara, will delve into Atsu’s past and introduce a new character, Nagato. The expansion will also explore a new valley filled with the Vipers gang and flashback to the Battle of Sekigahara.
Additionally, a new single-player survival mode called Wanted will be introduced, allowing players to take on bounties, earn perks, and unlock new characters like Oyuki and Nagato. The update will also include quality of life improvements such as a Beauty of Yōtei mode, transmog armor options, and high contrast accessibility settings.
These new features will build upon the success of Ghost of Yōtei, which received critical acclaim in 2025 and recently added an online co-op mode, Ghost of Yōtei Legends. Reviewers have praised the game for its engaging story, deep combat mechanics, and detailed open world.
