ORICO has officially launched its CyberData NAS Series for full retail availability starting today, July 28, 2026. The range includes four models: CyberData CF6, CyberData CF56, CyberData CF56 Pro, and CyberData CF1000. These models offer different configurations, ranging from a compact six-slot solid-state system to a larger ten-bay unit capable of storing up to 256TB. The concept behind the CyberData NAS Series is to provide users with a private digital workspace that combines storage, media management, self-hosted applications, and on-device AI tools within a single operating system called CyberData OS.
The launch of the CyberData NAS Series follows a successful crowdfunding campaign that garnered significant attention. ORICO emphasizes that the CyberData NAS is more than just a file storage solution, aiming to provide users with speed, capacity, and control in a system that can evolve alongside their data needs. The retail launch is seen as a step towards reaching a wider audience with this innovative concept.
Each model in the CyberData series runs on the CyberData OS software but features different hardware configurations. The CF6, for example, is the smallest model in the range and utilizes an Intel Core i3-N305 processor, along with six M.2 NVMe slots for storage. On the other hand, the CF1000 boasts ten SATA bays and two M.2 NVMe slots, powered by a 12-core, 16-thread Intel Core i5-1240P processor.
The CyberData OS offers a range of features, including AI-assisted search and classification tools for organizing media content, cross-platform synchronization, and support for Docker applications and virtual machines. The system is built on the ZFS file system, providing data protection features like snapshot rollback, file recovery, encryption, and isolated user accounts.
In terms of pricing, the CyberData models range from $599.99 to $1399.99. The series is now available for purchase through ORICO’s official online store, with free shipping options and a two-year warranty.
