Exciting news for Gran Turismo 7 fans! Polyphony Digital has unveiled a teaser trailer for the upcoming game update, set to be released on 11th June. The update will feature four modern Le Mans and World Endurance Championship cars, along with the addition of a safety car. This announcement was made during the Gran Turismo World Series 2026 Rd.1 – Milan event.
The timing of this update couldn’t be better, with the 24 Hours of Le Mans scheduled to take place on 13th-14th June. Players will have the opportunity to test drive these new additions at the iconic Circuit de la Sarthe.
The four prototypes included in the update are:
- BMW M Hybrid V8
- Ferrari 499P
- Peugeot 9X8
- Porsche 963
Additionally, players will have access to the Porsche 911 Turbo S safety car.
While some may feel disappointed by the absence of certain prototype cars from the World Endurance Championship, it’s worth noting that this update is free of charge. Gran Turismo 7 continues to impress with its diverse car lineup, catering to both classic and contemporary racing enthusiasts.
Despite the evolving landscape of racing games, Gran Turismo 7 remains a standout title with its extensive collection of Le Mans competitors. The game’s commitment to providing regular updates ensures that players always have something new to look forward to.
