LEGO 2K Drive is going to be delisted and servers will be shut off

Recently, visitors to digital storefronts browsing the product page for LEGO 2K Drive may have noticed a new notice displayed. This notice reveals that LEGO 2K Drive will be removed from all digital storefronts on May 19th and that the servers will be deactivated in May 2027. This delisting comes three years after the initial release of LEGO 2K Drive.

The official statement on the digital store pages for LEGO 2K Drive reads, “This product will no longer be available for purchase as of 05/19/2026. NOTE: All multiplayer servers for LEGO® 2K Drive will be shutdown as of 05/31/2027. After that time, all game functions requiring online servers will no longer function.”

The reason behind the delisting of LEGO 2K Drive has not been disclosed. Possible factors could include expiring licenses or the maintenance cost of servers not being justifiable. It is common for 2K to remove games from sale and shut down servers, typically with their sports games that have newer versions available. Unless a sequel to LEGO 2K Drive is in the works, this does not seem to be the case here.

In our review of LEGO 2K Drive, Dom expressed, “Lego 2K Drive does an incredible job of bringing Lego racing to life; it’s unashamedly creative, consistently energetic, and confidently amusing. It’s the kind of game that can bring families together in front of a screen, and away from it.” He gave the game a stellar rating of 9/10 due to its exceptional quality.
