UGREEN has recently launched a new range of compact charging accessories under the Nexode and MagFlow Air Editions series. This collection includes two wall chargers and two magnetic power banks, all designed to prioritize reducing size and weight while maintaining high output capacity. What’s Included in the Line-Up
The Air Editions range consists of four products. The standout item is the UGREEN Nexode Air 65W Charger (X860), a single-port USB-C wall charger. Alongside it is the UGREEN Nexode Air 65W Charger Slim (X865), which offers two USB-C ports and one USB-A port in a slim card-style design. Unlike the X860, the X865 offers three ports – two USB-C outputs and one USB-A output. MagFlow Air Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh (PB580)
The PB580 is a sleek Qi2 magnetic power bank designed for users who want to attach a backup battery to their phone without adding bulk. At just 8.6mm thick and measuring 105 x 70 x 9mm, it is impressively thin for a 5,000mAh capacity power bank, weighing 127g. It offers 15W of wireless output via Qi2 and a single USB-C port supporting up to 20W of wired output. MagFlow Air Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh (PB570)
The PB570 doubles the capacity to 10,000mAh and includes additional features not found in the smaller model. It is thicker at 14mm, measuring 112 x 70 x 14mm and weighing approximately 213g. Despite the increased capacity, UGREEN has kept it within airline carry-on limits. The PB570 supports 30W two-way fast charging, allowing it to deliver and accept 30W when recharging. UGREEN claims it can reach full charge in around 1.5 hours. It features two USB-C ports, one Qi2 wireless output, and a built-in pull-out USB-C cable that serves as both a charging lead and a carry strap. An LED indicator displays the remaining battery level. Charging Technology and Safety
All four products share common technology features. The chargers utilize UGREEN’s GaNInfinity chipset, the latest generation of gallium nitride semiconductor technology used throughout the Nexode range. GaN technology enables a smaller and lighter design compared to traditional silicon-based chargers at equivalent power levels, with lower heat generation due to higher conversion efficiency.
The power banks feature ATL high-density lithium cells with Dymondcell technology, boasting an energy density of 773Wh/L. They include dual NTC temperature sensors, thermal silicone, and a metal heatsink for effective heat management. UGREEN provides 13 layers of protection against overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, overvoltage, overheating, and short circuits.
SmartCharge technology on the power banks automatically detects connected devices and adjusts power output accordingly to prevent overloading or mismatches when multiple devices are connected simultaneously.
Qi2 and Compatibility
Both power banks are Qi2 certified at 15W, the current highest wireless charging speed under the Qi2 standard. Qi2 utilizes a magnetic alignment ring to ensure proper alignment between the device and power bank during charging, reducing speed reduction or excess heat generation due to misalignment. The standard is backward-compatible with standard Qi devices, albeit at lower charging speeds.
